Ed Workman was born May 19, 1938, in Stilwell, Oklahoma to Blain Workman and Kindless Ex Workman and departed of this life to be with our Lord, July 7, 2022, in Stilwell, at the age of 84 years, 1 month, and 19 days.
Ed enlisted in the Air Force on January 11, 1957, and proudly served his country as an Airman First Class Rigger until he was honorably discharged on January 10, 1963. He worked for Campbell Soup Co. for 27 years and found great joy in ranching and raising cattle, traveling, and taking care of his grandkids.
Ed is survived by a very loving family that includes two sons: Farris Workman, and James Workman; one daughter, Shelley Workman, all of Stilwell; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two sisters: Cindy Driskill of Silverton, Oregon, and Retha Jones of Inola, Okla.; other relatives and many friends also survive him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; seven brothers: Alvis Workman, Dan Workman, Johnny Workman, Curtis Workman, Charles Workman, and two infants; and four sisters: Rosie Brown, Ruth Brown, Hazel Limberg, and Margaret Isaacs.
Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at Hall Cemetery, Natural Dam, Arkansas with Billy Craig officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home, Stilwell.
