Stilwell Lady Indians place 2nd at Cross Country meet; boys led by Keen

The Lady Indians cross country team came away with second place honors last Thursday at Carl Albert State College in Poteau. Dalton Keen led the boys team.

The Lady Indians cross country team came away with second place honors last Thursday at Carl Albert State College in Poteau.  The Lady Indians were led by Emily Cruz who placed third in the 2 mile run with a time of 12:49.  Also medaling for the Lady Indians was Madison Glave (13th, 14:57) and Gracey Hensley (14th, 14:58). Others running were Jennifer Garay (22nd, 15:26), Kaye Ramirez (23rd, 15:32), Mikalynn Camp (27th, 16:07), Maggie Cook (30th, 16:10), Wendi Fixin (43rd, 16:59), Raelynn Smith (53rd, 17:47) and Rachael Croley (64th, 19:27).

In the 5k boys run, Dalton Keen led the way for the Indians with an 11th place finish in a time of 19:28. Dalton was followed by Leon Hill (31st, 21:08) and Shace Duncan (32nd, 21:12).
