“I am soon proud of this young man! He has had a torn ACL for the last half of the season. He battled, but he did not make the NCAA Bracket. An injury by another wrestler allows him into the tournament. He finds out the night before he is scheduled for surgery. As the 33rd seed and going 5-1 so far,  Wyatt Sheets is an All American, becoming the lowest seeded wrestler in NCAA history to AA! He’ll be wrestling tomorrow for his place on the podium. This only happens because of heart and determination! This is perhaps the most gritty athletic accomplishment I’ve ever witnessed!! We are all so proud of you, Wyatt!”
