The official results of the Cave Springs and Belfonte School Board elections, and two seats for the Westville Town Council trustees, held on Tuesday, April 4, were available Friday from the County Election Board, said Election Board Secretary Jan Wilhite.
For Cave Springs School Office No. 1, Charlie Stilwell won with 33 votes, or 58.93 percent, over Corey Paul Scott, with 23 votes, or 41.07 percent of the votes.
At Belfonte School, Office 1, Mike Hyde won with 10 votes, or 52.63 percent of the votes, over Kim Muskrat, who received 9 votes, or 47.37 percent of the votes. For Office 2, Nadine Ross won with 10 votes, or 52.63 percent of the votes, to Ed Baker’s 9 votes, or 47.37 percent.
The election board also ran the Westville Town Council trustee election. Stefanie Mitchell came in with the most votes at 59, or 32.60 percent of the votes, followed by Lonnie Coates, with 46 votes, or 25.41 percent of the votes. These two will fill the two trustee seats. Patsy Winn was close to Coates, with 40 votes, or 22.10 percent, and Bryan Maloney, with 26 votes, had 19.89 percent of the votes.
