The Sequoyah County portion of the Belfonte School Board election, omitted in a previous story, has culminated in results.

At Belfonte School, Office 1, Mike Hyde had 10 votes, or 52.63% of the votes, Kim Muskrat received 9 votes, or 47.37% of the votes in Adair County.

For Office 2, Nadine Ross had with 10 votes, or 52.63% of the votes, to Ed Baker’s 9 votes, or 47.37%.

Adding Sequoyah County, Hyde received 119 votes of the total of 129 votes, or 87.16%, and Muskrat received 10 votes, for  12.84% and a total of 19 votes, making Hyde the winner. This also indicates 148 people turned out to vote for these candidates.

Ross received 12 votes in Sequoyah County with a total of 22, or 15.07%, and Baker 115, for a total of 124 or 84.93% of the 146 votes by citizens for Office 2, making Baker the winner.
