The Stilwell Future Farmers of America Chapter appreciates Brian Thurber, the plant manager from ABB Motors & Mechanical Inc., for donating two Baldor bench grinders and safety glasses. This generous donation will allow students the opportunity to expand their knowledge and skills in the agricultural mechanics shop. In addition, every student will have a new set of eye protection to add to their personal protective equipment (PPE). The PPE is a requirement for all students that are participating in agricultural mechanic projects. The support and donation will greatly improve the opportunities for the students.
“I really appreciate the folks at ABB-Baldor for supporting our Ag program. It is a great thing being able to have business and industry partners and we look forward to a long and productive relationship with them,” said Josh Gilstrap, FFA advisor.
